Geetha Govindam cinema became a symbol for star status of Vijay Devarakonda by collecting Rs. 60 crores in just 19 days.
The movie collected a gross of Rs. 111 crores and it is a rare feet for even Top Star films.
Now, the rumour is out there that the movie is getting offers to be remade in Tamil and there are a few lucrative offers made to the producers it seems.
Due to Vijay Devarakonda's popularity, as Arjun Reddy movie got dubbed and released in Tamil, Geetha Govindam collected Rs. 5 crores gross and Rs. 2 crores share, in Tamil Nadu.
We hear that the producers got a fancy offer of Rs. 2 crores for remake rights. Vijay is coming up with NOTA soon and his popularity and acting skills cannot be matched by anyone.
We have to wait and see, if it will be a smart idea to remake an already popular film?!
