'Geethanjali', a horror comedy, made with a low budget collected an impressive share of approximately Rs 3 crore by the end of 1st Week despite releasing on Saturday instead of Friday due to Censor issues. This horror comedy marks the first solo hit for Anjali who already proved his calibre with films like 'Journey' and 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'.
