These are the days where every small hit from Tollywood is being looked by Bollywood folks for a remake chance. Almost all the big Hindi hits in the recent times are originally Telugu movies. That made writer-producer Kona Venkat to bag a superb price for his recent venture “Geethanjali”.
This horror comedy featuring Anjali in the lead role will now remade in Bollywood as a production house invested nearly 70 lakhs to own the rights. Compared to many other movies being brought by Bolly folks, this is a hefty price as per the Telugu director who facilitated the deal. The movie was directed by Raj Kiran and he is busy carving out a sequel for it now.
