Tax Exemption given to 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' infused confidence in Tollywood Filmmakers that Governments of AP & Telangana were willing to support historical/patriotic content. As a result, Makers of critically acclaimed were lobbying for waiver of 15% Entertainment Tax.

'Ghazi', which is based on 1971 Indo-Pak Submarine War, opened to positive response from Critics and Movie Lovers. People began saying that it's a first-of-its-kind flick in Indian Cinema.

AP Government is in a tricky situation now. Already, It faced wrath of filmmaker Gunasekhar and few others for denying Tax Exemption to 'Rudramadevi'. Many people believe GPSK received Tax Benefit only because it's a film of Balakrishna. So, TDP Government will face criticism if it turn down the proposal of 'Ghazi' Makers.

On the other hand, Telangana Government is likely to offer Tax Exemption to 'Ghazi' with the intervention of Cinematography Minister Talasani and IT Minister KTR.
