Successful director Rajamouli had erased all the boundaries and smashed the language barriers with the magnum opus Bahubali, which entered the history books as one of the highest collecting Indian films ever. The film made him the top director in the country. Now Rajamouli is all set to repeat the same.

Rajamouli directorial RRR that stars two big stars from Tollywood NTR Junior and Ram Charan is gearing up for the release. The film was supposed to be released earlier. However, it got postponed due to Covid and various other reasons. RRR has no issues right now and on March 25, RRR is set to set the box office on fire.

Ahead of the release, the Telangana government had issued a Government Order allowing the hike in the ticket prices for the single screens and multiplexes. The new development will take the ticket prices further up.

As per the Government Order, the ticket prices can be increased by Rs 50 for the first two days of film release for the single screen theatres. On the other hand, the prices can be hiked by Rs 30 from March 28 to April 3.

Looking at the Multiplex theatres, the tickets can be hiked by Rs 100 for the first two days.
Compared to the fellow Telugu state Andhra Pradesh, movie ticket prices are high in Telangana. With the new Government Order, the tickets will get even costlier.

Looking at the situation in Andhra Pradesh, the government also gave its nod for the makers to increase the movie ticket prices. However, there is no clarity on the cap for the ticket hike. Concerned Minister Perni Nani said that, based on the recommendations of the committee, the makers can increase the ticket prices.

RRR is made with a mammoth budget of more than Rs 300 crores excluding the remunerations of the actors. The details were revealed by Perni Nani while talking to the media on the movie ticket prices issue. RRR tells the fictional story of two Indian freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju.
