Golmaal series has been one of the highly successful long running series of comedies in Hindi Cinema. Rohit Shetty has made a career out of these comic-capers. He made first Golmaal, a remake of Malayalam film, which has also been re-made as Tappu Chesi Pappu Kudu by Mohan Babu and Srikanth in Telugu. Even though a remake, Rohit changed a lot from the original adding car races and his style of comedy into the mix.
The movie released in 2006 became a huge success on Television and the makers announced a second part with even bigger star cast adding to the initial three, Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi and Tushar Kapoor. In the second one, Shreyas Talpade joined the cast.alomg with Kareena Kapoor. In 2010, the third one had Kunal Khemmu joining the cast and Kareena Kapoor continuing to be the love interest of Ajay Devgn.
After seven years, now the fourth installment in the series is coming as a Horror comedy with Parineeti Chopra as love interest and Tabu as a Tantrik. All other comedy legends like Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever and other Golmaal and Rohit Shetty regulars join the cast. The title song of the movie has been scored by S.S. Thaman and he scored the BGM for trailer too. Amar Mohile is scoring the BGM for the movie. The movie is scheduled for October 20th release promising to be a comeback of Rohit Shetty after his debacle Dilwale, starring SRK and Kajol, in 2015. The trailer promises lots of fun, let's watch the film and decide.
