Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is all set to arrive with her maiden Bollywood film 'Goodbye'. This movie has Rashmika playing the role of Amitabh Bachchan's daughter and it is hitting the screens on 7th October. The trailer of this movie was unveiled a while ago and it looks very appealing.

Amitabh Bachchan plays the role of an orthodox father who wants his daughter to stay with him. Rashmika will be seen as an independent girl who tries to find logic in everything and stays practical. The father and daughter fight over everything and things take a bad turn when Rashmika's mother played by Neena Gupta dies suddenly. While Rashmika finds all the rituals irksome, Amitabh wants everything to be done in a proper manner.

From there starts an emotional journey of self-discovery, love, loads of emotions and realization. 'Goodbye' seems like a beautiful film that focuses on human behavior and dwells majorly on the father-daughter relationship. While Amitabh is Amitabh, it is Rashmika who surprises with her good acting skills. It looks like she gave a decent performance without going too overboard this time.

Apart from Big B, Rashmika and Neena Gupta, the movie consists of a lot of supporting cast namely Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sunil Grover, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta, Shivin Narang, and Abhishekh Khan. Written and directed by 'Queen' and 'Super 30' fame Vikas Bahl, this movie is produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Viraj Sawant, Vikas Bahl and Saraswati Entertainment banner. Amit Trivedi took care if the music while Sreekar Prasad is the editor. Let us wait and see how Rashmika's maiden Hindi project is going to be.
