Varun Tej is getting ready to star in a sports drama, which will be directed by a newcomer Kiran. It has been reported Gopichand who is known for his action thrillers is all set to act in a sports drama.
Reportedly Sampath Nandi who made Goutam Nanda with Gopichand will direct a sports drama. Samantha's U-Turn producer will bankroll this project under the 'Srinivasa Silver Screen' Banner. This film got started recently. Sampat Nandi gave details about the characters of the lead.
According to the reports, Gopichand will be seen as Andhra Kabbadi Coach and Tamannah will play the role of Telangana Kabaddi Coach. Director said that he did a lot of research for the film by meeting a lot of kabaddi players and coaches.
