Gopichand Opens Up About Clash With 'Sye Raa'

Macho star Gopichand who has been eagerly waiting for a proper hit in his career is all set to test his luck with his upcoming movie 'Chanakya' under the direction of Kollywood director Thiru.
Mehreen Pirzada romanced Gopichand in 'Pantham' movie is playing the female lead in this movie as well. The teaser and trailer has created a good impression on the audience. But the release date of the film came out as a shocker for the movie buffs. It is known that 'Chanakya' movie is going to hit the theatres on October 5th which is just three days away from the grand release of much anticipated magnum opus 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy' starring Megastar Chiranjeevi. Recently, while talking in a promotional interview, Gopichand has revealed the reason behind it. He stated that they have always been planning for a Dussehra release. He added that they have decided the date first and then 'Sye Raa' announced their release date. But, as they doesn't want to miss the Dussehra season, 'Chanakya' movie unit went on to lock October 5th as the release date.
It is true that the holiday season is definitely going to become an advantage for both 'Sye Raa' and 'Chanakya'. However, we have to wait and see if Gopichand can score a much needed hit with this film or not.
