GST raids made this heroine rush back home from shoot

Massive GST raids across the Twin Cities, especially in the Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills, have sent shock waves among those evading the GST. Film stars stopped shooting midway and rushed to home to be present while the raids were on.
Film heroine Lavanya Tripathi had to stop her shooting midway and rush back to her Jubilee Hills house. Sources say she has evaded around Rs 20 lakh of GST. A popular film hero's premises were also raided. His business establishments were also found to have evaded GST to a tune of several lakhs. The Similarly, chit fund units, cold storage units, software companies and construction companies were raided. Sources said the consultancies that send students for MBBS courses abroad have also been specially targeted. Sources said that the raids went on for most part of the day.
