First Look: Malala Biopic 'Gul Makai'

Pakistani based education activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai life is coming onto the silver screen now. Continuing the trend of biopics, realtor Vijay Jaju is producing a biopic on Malala Yousafzai titled 'Gul Makai'. Amjad Khan is the director of the film. Malala used Gul Makai as a pseudonym to write articles about her experiences in the Taliban rule.
The makers have recently released the first look of the film. Popular TV actor Reem Sameer Shaikh is essaying the role of Malala in the biopic. While Instagramming the first look, Reem wrote that "Poster of my first movie- Malala Yousafzai Biopic- Gul Makai." Mukesh Rishi, Om Puri, Divya Dutta, Ragini Khanna are playing other crucial roles in the film. The producer has revealed that the profit from the film will either be donated to Malala Fund or spent as per the wish of Malala.
The majority of the biopics made in Hindi were successful at the box office. We have to wait and see how this film is going to impress the audience.
