Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha says his debut production venture “Gulab Gang” is not based on any real-life character.

It has been reported that the film, directed by Soumik Sen, is loosely based on Uttar Pradesh-based social activist Sampat Pal and her Gulabi Gang, which works towards liberation of women in the state.

However, Sinha cleared the air through his tweet and wrote: “Also, for the record, 'Gulaab Gang' is fiction. Not based on anyone's life, loosely or tightly. So please.”

The film will witness the comeback of dancing diva Madhuri Dixit on the silver screen after her 2007 released film “Aaja Nachle”. The film also features Juhi Chawla, Mahie Gill and Tannishtha Chatterjee in key roles.

Aamir Khan can't wait for 'Dhoom 3'

Superstar Aamir Khan is smiling after seeing the final cut of "Dhoom 3" and says that he can't wait to see the audience's reaction on the film.

“Guys... I just finished seeing the final cut of 'Dhoom3' and I cannot wait for you all to watch it... Suddenly Christmas seems too far away,” the 48-year-old posted on social networking site Facebook.

Aamir is playing an antagonist for the first time in "Dhoom 3", the third instalment of the "Dhoom" franchise that started in 2004. In the first two films, John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan played villains, respectively.

The actor is paired with Katrina Kaif in "Dhoom 3", directed by Vijay Acharya.

The rehearsals for the seventh season of "Kaun Banega Crorepati" (KBC) have begun and megastar Amitabh Bachchan says “preparation never enough for any creative work”.

“Rehearsing and preparing for KBC ... preparation never enough for any creative work,” he tweeted.

The 70-year-old plays the quiz master in the popular game show and has been associated with it since its inception in 2000, except for the third season in 2007 when superstar Shah Rukh Khan took over as the host.
