Gunasekhar bags prestigious award

Creative Filmmaker Gunasekhar will be honoured with KV Reddy Award at the Prasad Labs in Banjara Hills on December 13th, 2015 as a token of gesture for his contribution to Telugu Cinema. Film Personalities Dasari Narayana Rao, Akkineni Ramesh Prasad, Ashwini Dutt, Manisharma, Paruchuri Brothers and Tanikella Bharani will grace the occasion.
Gunasekhar made his debut as director with 'Laati' in 1992. 'Sogasu Chooda Tharamaa' and 'Ramayanam' earned him recognition. 'Choodalani Vundi' was his biggest break. Then, 'Manoharam' won him a lot of accolades. 'Okkadu' stood as a special film in his career and even 'Arjun' wasn't bad either.
The period between 2004-2015 was Gunasekhar's toughest phase. With 'Rudramadevi', The maverick filmmaker proved that he isn't over yet & there is still potential in him to thrill the audience. This high-budget historical flick earned him a lot of respect from Industry folks & people of Telugu States. He truly deserves the kind of appreciation he has been receiving off late.
