100 crores movie is just a rumor?

Director Gunasekhar started the trend of heavy sets and high-budget movies with Okkadu movie itself. Later his Arjun movie impressed the audience with sets but the producer suffered from heavy losses. Recently his movie Rudrama Devi got released after so many obstacles.

Now, another rumor popped out that Gunasekar is directing another high budget periodic movie Hiranyakashyakupu with a whopping Rs. 100 crores budget. As per the rumors Daggubati Rana is playing a vital role in the film. But whih producer came forward to invest that much amount in Gunasekhar's movie? He even struggled to release Rudrama Devi movie after so many days of shooting completion.

He is in a situation where he can't even get back the budget amount back. Even Rana also don't have that much market. His latest release Nene Raju Nene Mantri collected only Rs. 30 crores at the box office. Even if Gunasekhar releases the movie in other languages he can't make Rs. 50 crores. Then who will invest Rs.100 crores in this situation has become a mystery.

After Baahubali, this is another larger than life project for Rana but gaining success with such movies is not that easy. Even if he invests so much there is no guarantee that the movie becomes a hit. So, the movie might just stay as a rumor.
