The risk he took for making a period drama 'Rudramadevi' brought Gunasekhar his lost glory. With the confidence he gained from it, Our Creative Filmmaker is planning yet another biggie and an official announcement is awaited.
During the promotions of 'Rudramadevi', Gundasekhar expressed his desire to make a film on Prathaparudrudu who happens to be Rudramadevi's grandson and Kakatiya Dynasty's last ruler. However, He dropped the idea and planning to make a mythological flick.
Gunasekhar is keen on making 'Veerabhimanyu' which is based on a key part of epic Mahabharata. He already registered the title with Film Chamber. A film with the same title featuring Sobhan Babu as lead was made in the year 1965. The advancement of Technology could make a huge difference for the new version to be directed by Gunasekhar. Who will be the protagonist in Veerabhimanyu? Will it be Allu Arjun or Another Star Hero?
