'Guru' had a pretty good First Week at the Box Office. In 7 Days, It collected a Share of 11.85 crore and Gross of 19 crore.
While the Wrestling-based flick performed exceptionally well in Telugu States, The response has been shockingly poor in Overseas despite very positive reviews. A film like 'Guru' should have easily collected $1 Million in USA. May be, NRIs have been saving as much as they can for 'Baahubali: The Conclusion'.
Trade Circles say, 'Guru' might achieve break-even by the end of 2nd Weekend and it's going to be yet another good hit in Venky's career.
