GVM Ready With Ye Maaya Chesave 2 script!

29th February, seems like a day where we hear more about sequels to popular films. Gautham Vasudev Menon, the stylish urbane films director from South Indian Cinema became a huge name across all languages with Ye Maaya Chesave or Vinaithandi Varuvaaya.
Even though he said that Vinaithandhi Varuvaya's original ending in Tamil where Karthik and Jessie, don't get married is the best for him and he doesn't consider Ye Maaya Chesave as a film due to changed ending, film does have cult following in Telugu.
So, if he decides to make a sequel to Vinaithandhi in Tamil, then at least for business purposes he might try to do the same with YMC as well.
Anyways, the director said that he is ready with a story for sequel and he will direct it, if Simbu is ready to play Karthik, again. He said that the story will carry from the first one and it will be about Karthik's journey with still Jessie in his mind even after 10 years.
He wants to seriously explore the idea and readied an initial draft as well, it seems. Well, if Naga Chaitanya wants to be a part of the film, he might pursue the director to make it in Telugu as YMC2.
