Popular Telugu OTT platform 'Aha' secured a lot of viewers within a short time thanks to its entertaining and engaging content. They are buying some big films in Tollywood lately and dubbed a lot of interesting Malayalam film into Telugu. Apart from these, they are encouraging new content from budding filmmakers by giving the audience a lot of original films and web series. After coming up with a lot of originals that catered to the Telugu audience, ace producer Allu Aravind has announced his maiden Pan India series named 'Half Lion'. It is the first of the four pan-Indian series that Allu Aravind's Aha Studios will be producing in the coming days.

Coming to 'Half Lion', this web series is going to be a biopic of India's former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao. Created by acclaimed filmmaker Prakash Jha who made iconic films like 'Gangaakal', 'Apaharan', 'Rajneeti', 'Chakravyuh' and many others. The announcement video showcases the pages flipping over and each page revealing a key update about the series. It says that this web series is the celebration of the most uncelebrated Prime Minister who rebuilt India and the story of a man who laid the foundation of the New India that we know today. 'Half Lion' is based on the book by the same and it is written by Vinay Sitapati.

Presented by Aha Studio and Applause Entertainment, this biopic of PV Narasimha Rao will shed light on the inspiring vision and the gem of a man he is. It is going to reveal a lot of interesting things and is expected to touch upon some sensitive issues. The shooting will start soon and the actor who gets to play PV Narasimha Rao will be revealed soon.

Born in 1921, PV Narasimha Rao was the 9th Prime Minister of India and was in office from 1991 to 1996. He even worked as the minister of defense, minister of external affairs, minister of home affairs and was also the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1971 to 1973. He died in 2004 due to cardiac arrest. Other than being a politician, PV was also a lawyer and a writer.
