Hansika Film Lands In Legal Trouble!

Hansika Motwani is trying to make a big comeback in Tamil and Telugu as her films haven't been working at the box office as she expected them to.
Her recent film, Tuppakki Munai in Tamil also received mixed to bad reviews and Word of Mouth is also not encouraging.
The actress decided to give her career a boost by acting in a lady oriented subject written by UR Jameel. The movie is titled Maha and the team is trying to create buzz by projecting it as her 50th film.
Recently, they released a poster of her smoking weed in Kasi with many sadhus at her feet doing the same. A religious committee from Madurai took offence to it.
A lawyer on behalf of it decided to file a case on the film in Madurai High Court. Till now, the court did not call them for arguments but there is a strong case against the film, as per hurting the sentiments of a religion.
Movie team hasn't responded about the issue yet but it can potentially harm the movie production at the same time work as promotion too.
