Sunder C. is a Kollywood director but his films have tasted success in Telugu as well. His latest film 'Sangamithra' is hitting the news headlines for various reasons in the recent past. It is known that the movie has been launched few days ago.
Sangamithra created sensation with it's budget.. casting before the launch. The movie was launched in the recently concluded Cannes Film Festival. Within a few days of it's launch, Shruthi Haasan walked out of the film and her exit has created a huge sensation. The only respite in this episode is.. either heroine or the makes did not resort to mud-slinging on each other.
There is so much curiosity on who will replace Shruthi Haasan in this film. There was a talk in Kollywood that the makers have convinced Nayanthara for the lead role by offering her hefty remuneration. But the latest buzz from the Kollywood suggests that they have given the same offer to Hansika.
There is no clarity on Hansika's response over 'Sangamithra' offer. Some say that Sunder has already worked with Hansika in 'Aranmanai' (Kalavathi) series earlier so, he has convinced Hansika with that association. Meanwhile there netizens are shocked with the choice of chubby Hansika for playing 8th century woman warrior role.
