Harish Shankar refused to be the beneficiary of Rythu Bandhu scheme which is meant to provide financial assistance to the poor farmers. 'Rythu Bandhu scheme introduced by Telangana Government is a great initiative. Even I received certain amount for the farm land I owned. It would be nice if the same amount is being used for the well-being of the farmers in need of help. By adding some money on my behalf, I have submitted the cheque to Sarpanch,' he informed to media in the presence of local MLA.
Whenever such schemes were announced by Governments, Even the super-rich crave to be in the list of beneficiaries. Whereas, Harish Shankar choose not to do so. The way he rejected the benefit of Rythu Bandhu with a good intention might inspire many people in the coming days.
