Usually, Jagapathi Babu used to charge anywhere around Rs 70 lakhs for the films in which he has played the lead until now. But that's not the case after the release of 'Legend' which marked his grand comeback in a new avatar.
If the sources are to be believed, Jagapathi has quoted Rs 1 crore as his remuneration for playing crucial role in Ram Charan's 'Govindudu Andarivaadele'. The talks between the actor and the producer were still under progress and nothing has been confirmed yet.
As of now, Jagapathi Babu is the most sought after character artiste in Tollywood and Kollywood. He is donning pivotal roles in over half a dozen promising new projects including Rajinikanth's Lingaa and Mahesh Babu-Koratala Siva's flick.
