Is Hello Guru 'inspired' from that old movie?

Satyam when it came out in 2003, became a big hit for Sumanth and many thought, then young actor Sumanth got a classical love story to form a firm base among family audiences.
But the actor found it tough to continue the momentum. The love story, Satyam did break many cliches of the time by introducing a dynamic where girl's father is impressed by the hero and he also befriends him, helps him in the end to get the girl.
The same plot device seems to be explored in a different and more massy way by Hello Guru Prema Kosame team.
Ram joins as a software employee and befriends Prakash Raj. This senior Prakash also helps him in his love story like a guide.
From trailers, we get this and as many Telugu Film lovers, we also guess that Prakash Raj will be Anupama's dad in the film. So, the story does seem to be inspired from Satyam and another film like that, Lovely.
Anyways, Prasanna Kumar and Trinadha Rao Nakkina are known for creating comedy in known premise and serve a delicious masala dish. Let's see what they cooked this time. Movie is releasing on 18th October.
