Heroine files Domestic Violence case against Husband

Bollywood actress Rati Agnihotri on Saturday filed a domestic violence case against her husband Anil Virwani in Mumbai.
As per the version of Mumbai Deputy Police Commissioner, Rati Agnihotri complained that Anil Virwani has assaulted her physically and tortured her mentally. Cases has been registered under Sections 498A (Subjecting to Cruelty), 323 (Voluntarily Causing Hurt), 350 (Use of Criminal Force) and 506 (Criminal Intimidation).
Rati Agnihotri married Architect Anil Virwani in the year 1985. She lives with her husband and actor-son Tanuj in South Mumbai's Worli area. She orally complained to police on March 7th and showed them bruises on her hand due to alleged assault by her husband. She, however, refused to reveal why her husband has tortured her.
1981-Blockbuster 'Ek Duje Ke Liye' earned Rati Agnihotri huge critical acclaim. Her last film happens to be 'Purani Jeans' which released in 2014.
