High Court Refuses To Stall Lakshmi's NTR Release

Ram Gopal Varma was forced to change the release date of Lakshmi's NTR from March 22nd to 29th due to Censor issues. On the other hand, Kethireddy Jagadeeshwar Reddy's Lakshmi's Veeragrandham could also release anytime soon.
An Individual moved a lunch motion petition in the High Court to stall the release of Lakshmi's NTR and Lakshmi's Veeragrandham. He expressed the feeling that such controversial flicks could lead to law & order situation at the time of elections.
However, High Court struck down the petition citing every individual have the right for Freedom of Expression. 'There is no necessity to stall the release,' ruled the Justice.
High Court Order could be a big blow to the Telugu Desam Party. Lakshmi's NTR is based on the historical facts which took place ever since Lakshmi Parvathi entered into the life of NT Rama Rao. This sensational flick is carrying tremendous buzz.
Whereas, There is hardly any buzz for Lakshmi's Veeragrandham which is being made with the sole intention to tarnish the image of Lakshmi Parvathi. Below par production values drew severe criticism from the critics and movie buffs.
