High Court warns to issue stay on Darbar release!

Wait ... Don't hurry and cancel your bookings. Madras High Court did not issue stay on Thalaivar Rajnikanth's new release, Darbar yet. Even if it decides to do so, movie will release in India for sure.
The issue is between producer Lyca Productions and the Malaysian distributor. The producer had to pay Rs. 23 crores back to the distributor post release of 2.0, their previous film with Rajni.
As the producers did not turn up with payment on time, the distributors have gone to court after their repeated requests went unheard.
Now, AR Murugadoss directorial with Rajni will release in Malaysia on 9th January, only if the production house pays Rs. 4.90 crores as deposit to the court and then, they will be given further directions in settling the issue. .
The producers and distributor are not ready to go out of court settlement in this issue but Lyca Productions is ready to release the film all over the World, on 9th January, as per the earlier schedules.
