Akkineni Amala made a came back with Sekhar Kampala's 'Life Is Beautiful'. She, however, failed to create an impact with the role of a Doting Mother and Cancer Patient. Even Akkineni Fans were left disappointed watching her in the character of a ailing patient.
Movie Buffs expected Amala won't be making any experiments after that setback but they were proven wrong. Much to everyone's surprise, She decided to scare with a web series in horror genre.
Reportedly, Amala will be essaying the lead role in the web series titled 'High Priestess' bankrolled by Zee TV. She is going to appear in a psychic character this time. Actors Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Nandini Rai, Sunaina and Brahmaji does crucial roles in this web series.
Million dollar question would whether someone like Amala will be able to scare people? The kind of image she have doesn't gel well with the horror genre. Let's see if she gonna shut the mouths of critics..!
