Hindi Jersey to collect less than Telugu Jersey

In a strange and peculiar development, the Hindi remake of Nani's Jersey, which went with the same title - Jersey is expected to emerge as a box office disaster.
Jersey's Hindi remake has made a shocking Rs 15 crores till now and trade experts are analysing that the film might collect a mere Rs 20 crores in its full run. If the film ends up collecting Rs 20 crores in full run, it will be a disaster of epic proportions.
The sad thing is that the Hindi version, which has substantially high production costs than the Telugu version might be collecting less than the Telugu version.
The makers warded off interest from OTT platforms before the film hit the silver screens and now, netizens are commenting that themakers should have simply given away the film directly to OTT.
Gowtham Tinnanuri who directed Nani's Jersey directed the Hindi remake as well. The film has Shahid Kapoor in the lead role and it was mounted on a big scale. Mrunal Thakur played the female lead in the film.
