'Drushyam' is one film that amazes everyone with its interesting screenplay and captivating twists. The concept of a regular guy going to extreme lengths to protect his family has impressed the audience heavily. This Malayalam film became so popular that it was remade in Tamil with Kamal Hassan as the lead while Venkatesh was seen as the hero in the Telugu version.
Action hero Ajay Devgn remade 'Drushyam' in Hindi and it was a good success. Shriya played the role of his wife while Tabu was seen playing the crucial role of a police officer in search of her son. Now, the team got back together for filming the second part.
As we know, 'Drushyam 2' was released on Amazon Prime Video last year and it was a smash hit. Everyone praised the original version of the second part. After a few months, the Telugu version of 'Drushyam 2' starring Venkatesh and Meena was made available on the OTT platform. Kamal Hassan's Tamil version is in the production stage and Ajay Devgn's Hindi version has recently kickstarted.
The 'Singham' hero took to social media and posted a behind-the-scenes still where we can see the star hero looking quite normal in a plain shirt and nice hair craft. Director Abhishek Pathak is narrating the scene to the actors while Shriya is standing behind them. He wrote, 'Can Vijay protect his family again? #Drishyam2 shoot begins.'
The whole cast who were in the first part will be returning for 'Drishyam 2' and we need to see if it releases in theatres or opts for a digital release. We need to see what happens.
