His comments had surprised many for the reason that, when others were raising their voice against the issue, Nagarjuna came up with diplomatic and escapist comments.
Addressing the media in Hyderabad the other day, Nagarjuna said that he has no issues with the ticket prices if his film is seen from the commercial angle. If ticket prices are low, collections will be less, if the prices are high then collections will also be high, Nagarjuna said.
The netizens who are not happy with Nagarjuna's comments on the issue are widely sharing an old video of him in which he can be seen talking against the government for charging taxes but not giving any helping hand.
Drawing a comparison between now and then netizens are asking why the hero had different approaches when the industry is getting impacted by the government's decision.
The old video traces back to 2010 when his film Ragada was released. Unhappy with the government not supporting the industry, Nagarjuna said, the government charges entertainment taxes from them but when it comes to facilities there is no match.
