How KCR carried out 'Operation Swami Goud, Shravan Dasoju?'
By: Tupaki Desk | 22 Oct 2022 4:07 AM GMTCM KCR has shown that he is a master strategist once again by weaning away three BJP leaders for one leader lost. Striking back after former MP Boora Narsaiah Goud left the TRS to join the BJP, KCR lured back former MLA Bikshamaiah Goud, former chairperson of the Telangana legislative council Swami Goud and former ABVP leader Dasoju Shravan.
But the operation was a closely guarded one and was kept top secret. The BJP did not get an inkling of this plot at all. If sources are to be believed, the TRS boss exploited the weaknesses of these three leaders. Soon after Bikshamaiah Goud joined the BJP, the TRS government tightened the screws on his real estate projects. With his economic interests hurt badly, Left with no option, Goud reportedly raised a white flag. In a swift operation that left the BJP baffled, he was readmitted into the TRS.
Swami Goud was the chairperson of the TNGO Housing Society, whose land files were pending in the CMO. As his financial roots were under attack, Swami Gound simply surrendered without much resistance. Sources say he was also promised a MLC ticket if he joined the TRS. Goud felt discretion was better part of the valour and meekly joined the TRS.
Dasoju Shravan reportedly has been in constant touch with the TRS even after being the official spokesperson of the Congress. Even after joining the BJP recently, he is said to be talking to the TRS leaders. The TRS reportedly offered him a nominated post if he joined back into the TRS. A desperate Shravan, who is said to be facing financial issues, readily agreed to ditch the BJP.
If sources are to be believed, several more leaders, who have joined the BJP in recent times, are ready to jump back into the TRS bandwagon if the party offers them worthwhile support. All this has left the BJP thoroughly confused. Now it does not know who to trust in its own party. In recent times, several leaders from other parties have joined. Now their loyalties are in doubt and the BJP cannot trust them anymore.
