The MAA elections issue continues to surprise the observers with constant changes and new developments. After taking a lot of twists and turns, the issue took one more interesting turn with Manchu Vishnu, the contestant for the President post receiving support from a senior leader.
The current chief of MAA body, senior Naresh held a press meet today to announce the news of supporting Manchu Vishnu's panel. Naresh also said that he is not contesting the elections and kept himself distance from the elections. The new development is certainly a piece of good news for Vishnu and his panel members.
Addressing the media, Naresh said that MAA will lose its glory if any unworthy person reached the President's post in the body. After listing out the good work he did during his tenure, Naresh had targeted Prakash Raj, the main opponent for Manchu Vishnu in the election issue.
Naresh said that even after facing Covid, MAA under his Presidentship worked efficiently. He said, MAA had successfully provided insurance for the kin of the members, who lost their lives battling the deadly Covid. Even after doing so much work, a few people have targeted me, he said.
Targeting Prakash Raj, Naresh asked if the actor cast his vote in any elections and attended any meeting of MAA. Reminding the fact that Prakash Raj was suspended by the MAA for various issues, Naresh asked will Prakash Raj give any reasons for getting banned by MAA.
