Usually, The market of a Hero depends on the Box Office revenue of his previous flick. Of course, Mahesh Babu is an exception in this case. Even after two back-to-back disasters, The business of 'Srimanthudu' has exceeded expectations and even the film has set new records in TFI.
Again, Something similar is happening in the case of Mahesh23. Even after a failure like 'Brahmotsavam', Mahesh's new project under AR Murugadoss record is able to generate record pre-release business.
As per sources, Nizam theatrical rights of Mahesh23 were bargained for Rs 26 crore. Except 'Baahubali', No other film has surpassed Rs 25 crore-mark in TFI so far. Both Pawan (Sardaar) and Chiru (Khaidi No.150) managed to obtain Rs 21 crore each from Nizam territory.
On the other hand, Overseas rights of Mahesh23 is expected to touch Rs 25 crore-mark including Tamil rights. Already, Satellite Rights of the movie have been sold out for Zee Telugu for a whooping Rs 16 crore. The total pre-release business of Mahesh23 could be anywhere between Rs 100 to 135 crore.
