Huge Deal For Agent's Remake Rights!

If there is any detective that impresses us more in the recent times, it is 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya'. Talented actor Naveen Polishetty portrayed the comic detective role in a fantastic manner and this film which released as a small film turned out to be a big hit. It brought profits to everyone involved both economically and career-wise.
The makers of this film are even planning to make a sequel and the writers are busy brainstorming. In the meanwhile, this film is rumored to be remade in Tamil with star comedian Santhanam as the lead. On the other hand, a Hindi producer reportedly brought the remake rights for 2 crores which is a big deal for such a small film. Bollywood is remaking a lot of South films of late starting from 'Jersey' to 'HIT' and 'ASSA' is another inclusion in that list.
Naveen Polishetty made his film debut in Hindi too last year with 'Chichchore' and won a lot of accolades. He is currently focusing on his upcoming film 'Jathi Ratnalu' under Priyanka Dutt's production.
