Huge Price quoted for Manoharudu rights

It is known that Vikram-Shankar's most awaited flick 'Manoharudu' is being made with a whooping Rs 180 crore budget. Now, Producer Aascar Ravichandran wishes to earn some big bucks through the sale of the theatrical rights of Telugu version.
As per sources, Aascar Ravichandran has been quoting Rs 20 crore for giving away the Telugu dubbing rights. He seems to be holding talks with Laxmi Ganapathi Films for finalizing the deal. However, The production house which is known for dubbing films isn't keen on shelling out more than Rs 15 crore for the Vikram starrer after losing several crores because of Rajini's 'Vikram Simha'.
It was because of this setback, Aascar Ravichandran recently met Telugu media to share details of his ambitious project so that the much needed hype around the project will be created so that he will be offered a fancy price by some of the leading producers or distributors. The deal might be closed in a week or two as the date of audio launch is nearing.
