It is said that the efforts to bring a drive-in theatre in the capital city got momentum after Telangana IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao had proposed the same and urged the officials of Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to look into this and find suitable land.
Media reports are abuzz that the proposed drive-in theatre would require a huge area and as per the info, the setup would host more than 100 cars at a time and the project is likely to be a joint venture of the Telangana government and private firms.
The Drive-in theatre concept was started in a few abroad nations to give a whole new experience for movie lovers. The concept enables movie lovers to grab a pack of popcorn or any snacks and enjoy the film.
