Hyderabadi girl Ritu Varma forayed into films after shining in a short film. After acting in films like Prema Ishq Kadal and Baadshah, Ritu has got major break with the 2016 rom-com Pelli Choopulu. This proved the acting prowess of Ritu and many people expected her to be the face of content-oriented films in Telugu.
But the actress is being too picky in selecting films and is doing one film in a year or two. After Pelli Choopulu, she was seen in Nikhil's Keshava. Later, she acted in Dhruva Nachathiram, which is yet to be released. She also has a Tamil film with Dulquer Salmaan, which is gearing up for the release.
Finally, Ritu Varma signed a new project recently which will have Sharwanand in the lead role. Picking good scripts is okay but taking too much time for each film will definitely affect Ritu's career. Hope she realizes that and signs a good amount of films in the future.
