Speculations were abuzz that all is not well between actress-turned-politician Roja and her filmmaker husband Selvamani and the couple were seeking divorce due to troubled married life.
Responding to the rumors, Roja clarified there is no truth in these reports and they were happy as a couple. She, however, admitted living separately only because of professional reasons.
While Roja has been living in Hyderabad due to her political career, films and TV shows, Selvamani has been staying in Chennai. The couple has been living this way since several years now.
Apparently, It was Selvamani who introduced Roja in Tamil Film Industry. Love blossomed between the two and they tied the knot later overcoming all the financial hardships. Her Tollywood debut happened in the film 'Prema Thapassu' opposite Rajendra Prasad.
