I Am Ready For A Straight Telugu Film: Farhan Akhtar

Bollywood actor Farhan Akhtar is awaiting the release of his upcoming sports drama Toofan, which will be streamed bon Amazon Prime from the 16 of this month.
Ahead of his release, Farhan Akhtar spoke to a leading portal.He was asked a variety of questions during his interaction.
When asked about opting for another sports drama after Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Farhan Akhtar said, he had a good association with director Rakesh, and when received a call from him for a sports drama, he was excited. I gave my nod for the project, immediately after I heard the role, Farhan said.
Sharing more details of his role, Farhan said, the character he is playing, Aziz Ali aka Ajju Bhai, a famous tapori in Mumbai's Dongri, who is feared by everyone. His life changes at once after he ventures into boxing.
Farhan Akhtar was all praise for director Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra. He credited the role written by the director which helped him to give the best.
The actor said, mental transformation for a role is always tough compared to the physical transformation and the same happened with Toofan as well. I had spent more than six months getting the required physique.
Talking about his directorial film, Farhan Akhtar said, he made plans of directing a Hindi film but the total plan was collapsed due to the pandemic.
When asked about his straight film in Tollywood, Farhan Akhtar said, he was not approached for a film so far by the makers. The actor said, he is open to work in Tollywood,given the great films being made in the industry
