I cannot identify myself as a Superstar

Despite being the Industry for 27 years now and having the highest success rate among his contemporary heroes, Venkatesh couldn't identify himself as a Superstar and Stardom hasn't changed him a bit over the years. The actor claims he is still same Venky who was very much content with what he has got prior to going to USA for higher studies in the 80s. He shares even his college friends find it surprising to see him like a common man.
Venkatesh declares Cinema is just a part of his life and has got a life beyond it by citing family, travelling and spirituality.
Not many knew, Venkatesh was always an aimless kid whether its school or college. As a result, he neither had the doubts or anxiety what's going to happen next.
When asked about keeping his three daughters from spotlight, Venky explained he wants them to have the freedom to do everything they want and grow up normally.
On the film front, The 50-plus actor is excited about his upcoming flick 'Drushyam' which according to him is a trend setter in Tollywood.
