I stand by my statements: Sonu Nigam

Popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam's recent remarks on the use of loud speakers in religious places have become a huge controversy in the social media. While some are supporting his stataments.. others are criticizing him for hurting the religious sentiments. Let us go through his tweets on April 16, which caused furore in the social media.
"God bless everyone. I'm not a Muslim and I have to be woken up by the Azaan in the morning. When will this forced religiousness end in India"
"And by the way Mohammed did not have electricity when he made Islam.. Why do I have to have this cacophony after Edison?"
"I don't believe in any temple or gurudwara using electricity To wake up people who don't follow the religion . Why then..? Honest? True?"
Coming to the present, Sonu Nigam has reacted on the criticism on his statements. He said that whatever he said was right and he stand by his statements. He tweeted that "Dear everyone. Your stand exposes your own IQ. I stand by my statement that loudspeakers should not be allowed in Mosques & Temples".
