Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan revealed publicly that he had Tuberculosis just when he began shooting for the first season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' in the year 2000. This revelation came from him during the launch of BMC's campaign against Tuberculosis 'TB Harega Desh Jeetega'.
Big B shared TB could affect anyone irrespective of their socio-economis status. Recalling that he used to wake up feeling weak at that point of time, The actor says Medical Tests indicated he was suffering from Tuberculosis.
Amitabh feels early diagnosis is the best way to cure TB and he is the best example for it. He opined improved Medical Care in the recent years is very helpful for the TB Patients and all that need to be done is taing medicines at the right time.
In India, About 3 lakh people die every year because of TB. Amitabh's message will surely spread awareness about the ailment.
