I Will Not Become A Director, Says Mahesh Babu

Post the success of Duvvada Jagannatham, Pooja Hegde increased the pace in signing the movies. At a single go, she signed three biggies Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava with Jr NTR, Maharshi with Mahesh Babu and Jaan with Prabhas. While Aravinda Sametha released last year, Maharshi is hitting the screens on 9th of this month. The makers held a pre-release event of the movie yesterday.
During her speech, Pooje made some interesting compliments on her co-star Mahesh Babu. It is common to see the hero and heroine exchanging some interesting compliments but Pooja's speech attracted the attention of everyone. ''A lot of people does not know the fact that Mahesh can become a director. I don't know if he has such plans but the way he understands a scene is completely different. There is a director's angle in him.'' said Pooja Hegde.
While delivering his speech, Mahesh Babu acknowledged Pooja's compliments and thanked her politely. He did not stop there but gave a friendly counter to Pooja saying that he will never become a director. ''I think it is best if all of us do something that we are good at. As actors, we should act and directors should direct. That's all.'' said Mahesh Babu ruling off all the possibilities of him becoming a director in the future.
