Ilayaraja participates in Chennai relief operations

As torrential rainfall and floods continue to threaten Chennai, the entire Tamil Nadu is bonding together to send relief to the victims. The latest to join the relief operation is none other than legendary musician Ilayaraja. Music Maestro Ilayaraja has come to the rescue of people in Chennai. The legendary music composer has traveled in the boat to the rehabilitation center and distributed food items to the victims.
Ilayaraja commuted to the school in a boat and spoke to the kids for sometime after distributing food. He traveled to other flood hit areas also and this kind gesture by Ilayaraja has won many hearts. For the past few days, Chennai has been trying to cope with heavy rain and floods. The rain has affected power, communication and transport, causing chaos among the citizens.
