Ileana D'Cruz: Tourism Ambassador For Fiji

Beautiful Ileana D'Cruz may not be having a great time as a heroine in Bollywood but she has been appointed as Fiji's Tourism brand ambassador for India market. Ileana carried out a successful campaign for Tourism Fiji in 2017 and it has increased the interest of Indian travelers for Fiji. Now Fiji wants her to work for them as brand ambassador to promote Tourism.
Ileana is delighted to be associated with Fiji. She said that "I'm so happy to be associated with a beautiful country like Fiji. The warmth, hospitality and love the Fijian people have made me feel like I'm home. I cannot wait to go back and explore more of this lovely paradise." Fiji is witnessing a steady growth in the number of Indian travelers for the past five years. Fiji witnessed a 30% increase for the year ending with December 2017 in comparison to 2016.
Fijian Tourism Minister Faiyaz Siddiq Koya is expecting that Ileana's promotion will get more Indian travelers to Fiji. He said that "Fiji and India share common thread between them as over 40% of the Fijian population is of Indian origin."
