Portrayal of Women in South Films became a most debated topic after Tapsee questioned what's so sensuous about hitting the navel with a coconut. And now, Ileana shared her views on the same topic.
In her debut movie 'Devadasu', YVS Chowdary picturized the songs in a certain manner that youth and masses will go crazy watching the beauty of Ileana. Though the hip beauty didn't like it or understand the concept, She couldn't object it being a newcomer.
While promoting 'Baadshaho', Ileana disclosed she did ask YVS Chowdary why he dropped a big shell on her navel. The Director replied it's gonna look beautiful. And then, She said it's a bit heavy for her to handle.
In an another sequence, Flowers were placed around the waist of Ileana. When she questioned why was it done, The Filmmaker told it's an attempt to showcase her beautifully.
However, Ileana doesn't regret doing such movies as she enjoyed being glamorous on the screen. She feels objectifying woman happens everywhere not just down South.
