Ileana D'Cruz In Chiranjeevi's Lucifer Remake?

It is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to star in the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer under the direction of Mohan Raja. Directors Sujeet and VV Vinayak had previously worked on this project. But they could not make the script as the Megastar wanted.
Mohan Raja, who has a good knack for making remakes and has also made his mark in the original films, was able to impress Chiranjeevi with his script. Since Lucifer was a pure political thriller, the film had no space for the female lead and other commercial elements.
However, Chiru wanted the film to be a little more entertaining than the original, with a lot of commercial elements. And, the director Raja has successfully accomplished the task. As per the update, the director has added a new episode and gave scope to the heroine character. In addition to this, he also included some comedy and action episodes in the remake.
If the reports are believed, the makers of the film are considering star actress Ileana opposite the veteran Chiranjeevi. However, there is no official confirmation from the team yet. Lucifer was directed by actor Prithviraj with Mohanlal playing the lead.
