King of Tollywood film makers, SS Rajamouli, is coming up with 100 Crores budgeted flick Bahubali. This venture is considered as the biggest one in Tollywood film industry. It is quite rare to see flicks with 50 Crores plus budget in Tollywood. Rajamouli is taking the lead to direct a flick which is almost double the highest budget level in Tollywood.
As a 100 Crores worth flick, film makers of Bahubali needs to spend few Crores exclusively on taxes. Now as the state got divided and as Andhra region will enjoy less tax feature, we can say that Bahubali lost few Crores for advancing the film shooting by an year.
If Bahubali could have started in Seemandhra and in the present scenario, it would have escaped taxes to some extent. Analysts are saying that the distributors of this flick in Seemandhra may get benefited due to the less tax feature in Seemandhra. This may trigger the Seemandhra distributors to spend some more money on promotions in their region!
