IT Sleuths conducted search at the office of Dil Raju in Hyderabad to find out if there is any tax evasion. This shocking development upsets Mahesh Babu Fans who doesn't want these negative things to happen ahead of the release. Just when they breathed a sigh of relief after the issue between Producers was resolved amicable, Fans received a deadly shock in the form of I-T Raid. They would only hope Income Tax Raid doesn't affect the release of Mahesh Babu's 25th flick on May 9th.
Dil Raju planned own release of 'Maharshi' in Nizam, Uttarandhra and Krishna. In rest of the areas, Theatrical Rights were sold out for fancy prices. Overall, Theatrical Rights of 'Maharshi' are valued at around Rs 100 crore. Close to Rs 50 crore has been recovered through the sale of Satellite, Digital and Hindi Dubbing/Remake Rights. Dil Raju will have to prove to the IT Officials that taxes have been paid as per the norms.
