Indian 2 Accident: Kamal, Kajal and Shankar Escape Narrow Death!

Lyca Productions and Popular Director Shankar have come together again after 2.0 for Indian 2 with Kamal Hassan. The film has Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth among the cast too.
The team were supposed to leave to Belgium after Chennai schedule but during the shoot on 19th February, at EVP Film City during the night time, a 150 feet crane that is carrying lights fell after installing it.
It fell at the spot the director, actors normally sit after the shot, during the shoot, with monitor to look at the shot. The crane fell so suddenly that the team did not get time to take precautionary measures to save lives.
Kajal, Kamal Hassan and Director Shankar were also present at the spot when the accident happened. Luckily, they could escape death and injuries.
But three of the team members died on spot and three of getting treatment in a private hospital in Chennai. More than 10 members are injured in the accident.
Kamal Hassan checked on the people and Director Shankar did not suffer major injuries but is under severe trauma and suffered slight injuries to left leg say film sources.
Kajal's designer was on the set during the accident and many of the people from the production house have been giving updates about the incident on social media.
Kamal is active on Twitter and he is sharing his grief about the lives lost. He shared that he did see many accidents in his long career but this pains him more than all of them.
During Bigil shoot too such a mishap happened earlier in Chennai. Fans and media persons are asking for precautionary measures on sets to stop such freak accidents in future.
